You can view interesting parts during the FFW or RWD mode at normal speed by
pressing the
(PLAY) button.
2. Timer Recording:
You can record any event during your absence by using the build-in timer. The timer will
control the receiver functions according to the set parameters.
The timer functions are described in detail in chapter 5.1.3 “
Timer Menu
”.
We recommend you to use the EPG timer functions, it is convenient to use and it
prevents mistakes in recording times and/or dates. Please read “
Timer programming via
EPG
” in chapter 5.1.3 for more details.
3. Time Shift Recording:
Select the TV or Radio programme of your choice and press the
PAUSE
button.
The “
Pause
” symbol will appear in the left upper part of the screen.
In the display at the front panel of the receiver “
TSHT
” will be displayed.
The programme now is recorded on the HDD.
At any moment you can start viewing the programme by pressing either the
PAUSE
or
PLAY
button. You start watching and at the same time the recording of the event proceeds.
By pressing the
INFO
button you will find the time bar in the screen, it provides you
information about the time difference between live event and current playing moment.
Please note that the maximum available time for time-shift function depends on the at
that moment available free space on the HDD. (1 hour time-shift equals to about 2 GB
storing capacity).
If you want to stop the time shift recording, press the
(
STOP
) button. The message
“
Save as
” will appear in your TV screen. The information of the recorded programme has
been recorded on the HDD, once you press “
YES
” that information will be stored on the
HDD. If you select “
NO
” the recorded information will not be stored. “
Cancel
” will stop
the save process and the Time shift recording will proceed.
Special function, available during Time Shift Playing mode:
You can use the Fast Forwards and Fast Rewind functions in the same way as described
in “
Special functions available during record on demand
”.
4. Picture Recording:
You can capture “
snap shots
” from the running programme or from a video record and
store the picture as a data file on the HDD. Press the
FREEZE
button while you are
watching a programme.
A message will appear in the screen, asking you if you want to store the picture. Press
OK
to store, or press
BACK
in case you don't want to store.
