The 4 different ways of recording.
1.
Record on demand:
Push the record button and record instantly what you are watching
2.
Timer Recording
: Use the convenient EPG timer function to record selected programmes
3.
Time Shift Recording:
Allows you to pause a live programme, record it from the moment you
left and proceed watching as from the moment you paused it.
4.
Picture recording:
You can make “
snapshots
” from running TV programmes or from Video
recordings and store them on the HDD.
The details on how to use these functions will be described in the following paragraphs.
Note:
Recording of copyright protected materials is only allowed for personal use. In order to avoid
infringements of local laws we recommend you to check the applicable laws in your country.
RECORDING:
The recording of a currently running programme (Radio or TV programme) can be started
without the need to access the menu, you can use the buttons on the Remote Control Unit.
1. Record on demand:
Press the o (
Record
) button on your Remote Control Unit.
The HDD will be activated and the recording will start.
In the Right Upper corner of the TV screen the “
REC
” message will appear.
In the display at the frontpanel of the receiver “
RECD
” will appear.
Once you press the
REC
button a second time, a screen with text “
Recording
” will
appear. With the
LEFT/RIGHT
button you can select the record duration: 30 / 60 / 120
or 180 Minutes. Confirm your selection with
OK
.
If you want to stop the recording, press the
(
STOP
) (button. The message “
Save as
”
will appear in your TV screen. The information of the recorded programme has been
recorded on the HDD, once you press “
YES
” that information will be stored on the
HDD. If you select “
NO
” the recorded information will not be stored. “
Cancel
” will stop
the save process and the recording will proceed.
Special functions, available during Record on demand:
With the
(PAUSE) button you can hold the picture. The “
Pause
” symbol will appear
in the left upper part of the screen to indicate that the pause function is active.
At any later moment you can start viewing again by pressing the
(PLAY) button.
Since you have paused the recording during the live event, a time shift is present now.
By pressing the
(FFW) (Fast Forwards) button you can quickly view, and catch up
with the live event. (Note that during FFW playing you will not hear audio).
You can select different speeds during
(FFW) and
(RWD) by pressing the
corresponding buttons more then once, speeds between 2 X - 32 X are available. The
selected speed will be displayed at the left upper part of the screen.
