14.5 Cascade Test Mode
This test mode allows for all boilers connected in cascade to be activated at the same time operating up to the
same power. This will need to be selected through the master boiler which can be identified by the master icon
shown on the display =
To enter this mode, navigate through the following path:
“USER MENU” > “MAINTENANCE” > “TEST MODE” > “CASCADE TEST MODE”
This example shows two S-FX boilers setup in
cascade.
Both modules will light and operate up to their
maximum heating power.
The display as shown on the right will show the
actual heating power:
- 5% = Actual Heating Power.
- 1 / 2 = Module Lit / Modules Connected.
Press the contextual buttons 1 & 2 to increase / decrease the burner power. To deactivate this test press
contextual button 3 or alternately after 15 minutes the test will automatically finish.
Do not turn off the S-FX boilers electronically during the test.
If this happens, when the power is switched on again the system does not recognise deactivation of
the test. Therefore, it will start operating in test mode and not in normal operation.
