Infektionsgefahren
• Warnung: Diese Instrumente werden nicht steril
ausgeliefert. Durch die Verwendung unsteriler
Instrumente besteht Infektionsgefahr für
Patienten, Anwender und Dritte. Instrumente
auf sichtbare Verunreinigungen prüfen.
Sichtbare Verunreinigungen weisen auf eine
nicht erfolgte oder nicht korrekte Aufbereitung
hin. Die Instrumente vor der ersten Anwendung
sowie vor und nach jeder weiteren Nutzung
unter Verwendung von validierten Verfahren
aufbereiten.
• Warnung: Durch nicht sachgerecht aufbereitete
Instrumente besteht Infektionsgefahr für
Patienten, Anwender und Dritte sowie die Gefahr
von Funktionsstörungen des Instruments. Die
Anleitung „Reinigung, Desinfektion, Pflege und
Sterilisation von KARL STORZ Instrumenten“
und die produktbegleitenden Unterlagen müssen
beachtet werden.
Verletzungsgefahren
• Warnung: Durch optische Strahlung besteht
Verletzungsgefahr für die Augen. Niemals direkt
in den Lichtaustritt an der Spatelspitze sowie in
den Lichtaustritt des C-MAC

Risks of infection
• Warning: These instruments are not sterile when
delivered. The use of non-sterile instruments
poses a risk of infection for patients, users
and third parties. Inspect instruments for
visible contamination. Visible contamination is
an indication that reprocessing has not been
carried out or has been carried out incorrectly.
Reprocess the instruments before initial use and
before and after every subsequent use using
validated procedures.
• Warning: Incorrectly reprocessed instruments
expose patients, users and third parties to a
risk of infection as well as the danger of an
instrument malfunction. Observe the manual
‘Cleaning, Disinfection, Care and Sterilization
of KARL STORZ Instruments’ and the
accompanying documentation (This manual is
not intended for use in the USA).
Risks of injury
• Warning: Optical radiation poses a risk of injury
to eyes. Never look directly into the light outlet
at the blade tip or into the light outlet of the
C-MAC
®
S USB IMAGER.
• Warning: The C-MAC
®
S USB IMAGER must
not be used for medical applications without a
C-MAC
®
S video laryngoscope blade for single
use.
• Warning: The C-MAC
®
S USB IMAGER must
be checked prior to each use to ensure that
it functions correctly and has been properly
cleaned, disinfected and/or sterilized. Defective
instruments must be withdrawn from use and
inadequately reprocessed instruments must be
reprocessed again.

Riesgos de infecciones
• Cuidado: Estos instrumentos no se suministran
esterilizados. La utilización de instrumental no este-
rilizado puede representar un riesgo de infecciones
para pacientes, usuarios y terceros. Compruebe
si existen impurezas visibles en los instrumentos.
Si hay impurezas visibles, cabe suponer que la
preparación o bien no se ha efectuado o se ha
realizado de forma inadecuada. Prepare los instru-
mentos antes de la primera aplicación, así como
antes y después de cada utilización subsiguiente,
empleando para ello procedimientos validados.
• Cuidado: Una preparación incorrecta de los
instrumentos puede representar un riesgo de
infecciones para pacientes, usuarios y terceros,
y provocar fallos de funcionamiento del instru-
mento. Es necesario observar la Instrucción
“Limpieza, desinfección, conservación y esteri-
lización de los instrumentos de KARL STORZ”,
así como la documentación adjunta al producto.
Riesgos de lesiones
• Cuidado: Existe riesgo de lesiones oculares
debido a radiación óptica. No fije nunca la vista
directamente en el haz luminoso que sale de la
punta de la espátula, ni en la salida de luz del
C-MAC
®
S USB IMAGER.
• Cuidado: El C-MAC
®
S USB IMAGER no debe
ser utilizado para aplicaciones médicas sin una
espátula de videolaringoscopia C-MAC
®

• Cuidado: Antes de cada utilización, compruebe
la capacidad de funcionamiento del C-MAC

USB IMAGER y si ha sido correctamente limpia

do, desinfectado y/o esterilizado. Es necesario
apartar los instrumentos defectuosos y someter
a una nueva preparación los instrumentos que
no se hayan preparado suficientemente.
