Reduce load.

Distribute boat load evenly. Adjust trim.
4. Excessive water in bilge
Drain bilge.
5. Boat hull condition
Cleaning
6. Improper propeller selection
Select proper propeller pitch and diameter.
7. Fuel incorrect
Fill tank with correct fuel.
Check fuel filter and fuel flow condition.
8. Throttle not fully open
Check throttle command lever for
full travel.
9. Overheating
Check cooling system. Remove debris
from water intake. Check belt tension.
Check condition of impeller.
Check for clogged heat exchanger tubing
(in raw water circuit).
10. Air intake troubles
Check intake air filter.
Check ventilation of engine compartment.
Excessive free play in

Adjust or replace.
