Program 67 - Reading/calibrating potentiometers (code 16)
The individual potentiometer value is set on the microprocessor of the relevant
column when calibrating potentiometers. A potentiometer generates an analog
signal which is translated into an incoming digital signal for the microprocessor.
The calibration of the individual columns is performed in the factory.
Re-calibration is necessary in the following cases:
Error code 16 (analog potentiometer signal not within range),
After a potentiometer has been replaced,
After a printed circuit board has been replaced,
After changing software.
Calibration procedure:
1. Allow the column lifts to rise without a load for approximately 3 feet.
2. Switch off the main switch and switch it back on again.
3. Enter programming mode on one of the columns.
4. Select program 67.
5. Activate program 67 by pressing the [UNLOCK] button.
The printed circuit board will show a number made up of 2 digits after this program
is active. This is the number of hours the electric motor has been running. Number
67 will be displayed again after approximately 5 seconds.
6. Repeat steps 3 to 5 of this procedure for each column lift of the set.
7. Exit programming mode by switching off the main switch and switching it back on
again.
8. Start the system by pressing the [Select] button.
9. Lower all column lifts completely until they have attained the lowest position.
10. Switch off the main switch and switching it back on again.
11. Start the system again by pressing the [Select] button.
The height reference values will be automatically set.
If error code 16 appears in a display and the columns are not yet in the lowest
position, skip step 1. This will ensure that you can start the system. After starting
the system successfully, the calibration must be repeated as per steps 1 to 5 (fine
tuning).
