Torque reaction devices are generally recommended for the following nutrunners and applications:
Nutrunner Type Reaction Torque Absorbed by the Operator Exceeds
Straight 4 Newton Meters
Pistol 110 Newtons
Angle 200 Newtons
Provisions for mounting second handles or reaction bars may be required at lower reaction torque values than
those indicated above, depending upon factors such as the expected frequency and duration of operation, the
physique and posture of the operator, the type of joint and use of accessories such as extensions.
