Line Pattern
Selects the desired line pattern for the Track.

Load (file)
Loads file from User C-CARD:

(DSC) LOG page
Shows the Distress Call LOG page or Position Request LOG page (it depends which of the two was
selected). See DSC LOG page.

Longitude
The angular distance East or West of the prime meridian (Greenwich meridian) as measured by lines
perpendicular to the parallels and covering at the poles from 0° to 180°.
Loran
The Loran Chains are groups of transmitting stations that use timed radio pulse transmissions.
Magnetic Deviation
The angle between the Magnetic North and the Compass North.
Magnetic Variation
The angle between the magnetic and geographic meridians at any place, expressed in degrees West
or East to indicate the direction of magnetic North from true North. It changes from point to point, and
(at the same point) with time.
Map Datum
Selects the Map Datum among 130 items (the list of all Map Datum available is shown in the Part A
of "
Handbook"). WGS 1984 is the default Map Datum.

Map Orientation
Selects the orientation of your chart according to: North Up (the map is shown with North upwards),
Course Up (the map is displayed with the currently selected course leg upwards). The default setting
is Course Up.

Map Orientation Res(olution )
It is the resolution angle for the Map Orientation, range [5, 30] degrees. The default setting is 15°.

Map Presentation
Selects the chart presentation between Marine and Terrestr. Changes the sea and land color to
improve visibility of map details depending on the type of C-CARD inserted (Marine or Terrestrial). The
default setting is Marine.

Map Setup (menu)
One of the many advantages of the C-MAP cartography is the ability to select the information you want
to display. The user may choose either to display or not on the screen the selected objects, depending
on his specific requirement (refer to the "
Handbook" for an explanation of the objects.) . Use
the Map menu to select the cartographic objects to display on the screen. The Map Setup menu is
subdivided in the following settings menu: Land Settings, Marine Settings, Nav Aids Settings , Other
Settings, Chart Settings .

Mark
Reference points defined by the user Mark is placed under the cursor position or entering its position
manually (in Home mode is placed at the ship's coordinates).
Adding Mark: 'MARK'
Deleting Mark: Place cursor on existing Mark + 'ENTER' + "DELETE" + 'ENTER' + "YES" + 'ENTER'
Editing Mark: Place cursor on existing Mark + 'ENTER' + "EDIT" + 'ENTER' + Modify Symbol, Name,
Coordinates + 'CLEAR'
Moving Mark: Place cursor on existing Mark + 'ENTER' + "MOVE" + 'ENTER' + move 'ENTER'
User Points List: Place cursor on existing Mark + 'ENTER' + "LIST" + 'ENTER'
