3. CONTROLS AND INDICATORS

NOTE

This Section defines each control of the chartplotter. For detailed operating
instructions, refer to Section 8 of this manual. Refer to Figure 3.1 for the location
of the following keys and connections.

3.1

CONTROLS AND CONNECTIONS

The chartplotter is controlled by using 10 keys. There is also a 

ShuttlePoint knob to

move a cursor across the screen.

 As you press a key, a single audio beep confirms

the key action; every time the key pressed is not valid, three rapid beeps sound
indicates that no response is available.
