STEP 17:
Attach the
SUPPORT PLATES(275)
to the
TOP FRAME(9)
with
BUTTON HEAD BOLTS
(M6x1x15mm)(147).
Refer to detail view 8.
STEP 18:
Refer to detail view 9. Tighten the
HEX BOLTS(M8x1.25x15mm)(171)
on the top and bottom
ends of the four
GUIDE TUBES(7).
Insert the
SELECTOR PINS(39)
into one of the
WEIGHT PLATES(40)
on both sides.
NOTE:
After finishing installation of
WEIGHT PLATES(40)
, make sure that ropes are aligned correctly
with all pulleys.
NOTICE OF THE WEIGHT STACK:
After initial assembly, the rope tension will be tight causing about a 10mm (3/8 inch) gap between the first
WEIGHT
PLATE(40)
and the rest of the
WEIGHT PLATES(40)
. This may make it necessary to raise the
SELECTOR
ROD(8)
slightly to gain access to a selector rod hole for securing your
WEIGHT PLATES(40)
. After a short time
of use, the rope will stretch, the gap will close, and the selector rod holes will align correctly. During the first uses
while the rope tension is still tight, the user may be able to press down on the top
WEIGHT PLATE(40)
to access
the bottom hole of the
SELECTOR ROD(8)
and use all
WEIGHT PLATES(40)
on that side.
