4.0 Getting Started – Software
The following sections detail how to create software to interface to the uX
communications interfaces.
4.1 RS-232
The RS-232 interface makes use of a standard ‘command/response’
communications protocol. See section 5.0 for the syntax of the serial
interface protocol.
The baud rate for the RS232 is adjustable using a serial control command
(see the change baud rate command). The factory default is 115200 baud.
Supported baud rates are 115200, 57600, 38400, 19200, 9600, and 4800.
All software that addresses the RS-232 interface must adhere to the
following parameters:
