P R E P A R A T I O N
Assembly
This machine must be fully assembled before it
can be operated. Before beginning the assembly
process, refer to
Required for Setup
on
Page

and gather all listed items. To ensure the
assembly process goes smoothly, first clean any
parts that are covered or coated in heavy-duty
rust preventative (if applicable).
Review the
Power Supply
section on
Page 11
,
then prepare a location for the sander.
This machine and its
components are very heavy.
Get lifting help or use
power lifting equipment
such as a forklift to move
heavy items.
To assemble sander:
1.
Remove and inventory all contents from
packaging.
2.
Remove hex bolts and clips securing sander
to front of pallet (see
Figure 17
).
4.
Lift machine off of pallet and set on a
protected surface.
5.
Tip machine to one side and place 4" x 4"
wood block under side of machine.
Note:
Have an assistant support machine
from falling over during this procedure.
3.
Open rear access door, then remove hex bolts
and wood securing sander to rear of pallet
(see
Figure 18
).
6.
Install (1) leveling foot to each corner
bracket inside cabinet (see
Figures 19–20
).
