Operating Instructions
Making calls from the phone
directory
1 Recall the phone number you wish to dial
on the display.
To recall the number, press
directory
as many
times as necessary.
2 Press
talk
.
The button will light and the phone number will
be dialed.
Recalling phone numbers stored in the directory
Press
directory
. Each press on the button will display
a stored number in the order of program number.
When a number with the name recorded for name
announcement is displayed, the name will be
announced.
Checking a phone number with more than 8
digits
When the phone number consists of more than 8
digits, only the first 7 digits will be displayed. To
display the rest of the digits, press
to switch
the display.
(If the number is longer than 8 digits and shorter
than 12 digits, the whole number is displayed
automatically after one second.)
When no telephone number is stored in the
phone directory
“ – “ is displayed for 5 seconds. If you wish to return
to the previous display, press
off
.
To stop searching the phone directory
Press
off
.
To search for a phone number during a
conversation
Press
directory
several times during the conversation.
The display will show the telephone number for 20
seconds and then resume the operation duration
display. If you wish to change the display within the
20 seconds, press
handset priority
.
Entering a pause between numbers
Press
redial data
between the numbers in step 5 above.
The display will show “P”.
A press on the button will create a pause of
approximately 4 seconds. Press the button as many
times as necessary.
Tip
Dialing a PBX (Private Branch Exchange) number may
require a pause between numbers.
Changing/Erasing the phone number
stored in the directory
Changing the phone number
1 Press
directory
several times with the
phone disconnected until the number you
wish to change is displayed.
2 Press
program
.
3 Press to flash “ 修正 ” (modify) on
the display and press
program
.
4 Press hold/erase several times to erase the
number digit by digit and enter the
correct number with the dialing buttons.
5 Press program .
You will hear a confirmation beep.
Erasing the phone number
1 Press
directory
several times with the
phone disconnected until the number you
wish to erase is displayed.
2 Press
program
.
3 Press to flash “ 消去 ” (erase) on the
display.
4 Press
program
.
5 Press
program
again.
The number is erased and you will hear a
confirmation beep.
