Locating scenes
directly using the
scene numbers
(Scene Search)
On a VIDEO CD with PBC functions,
the menu screens, moving pictures and
still pictures are divided into “scenes”
and each scene is assigned with a scene
number.
You can check the current scene number
by displaying it on the TV screen during
playback (page 20). Be sure to memorize
the scene number from which you want
to start playing.

Press SCENE before you start playing or while playing a disc.
“SCENE –” and the scene numbers appear on
the TV screen.

Press the number buttons (0 - 9) to select the scene.
The selected scene number appears on the TV
screen.
If you’ve made a mistake, press the correct
number button again.
When you change a number under 10, press 0
and then the correct number.
Example: To change 2 to 5, press 0, then 5.
