Sound effect
You can use the surround sound effect. To activate the surround function,
set the SOUND EFFECTOR switch to NORMAL.
To give a monaural source the effect of a stereo sound, set the SOUND
EFFECTOR switch to STEREO. The STEREO function also works for
monaural sound from LINE INPUT.
To cancel the surround sound effect
Set the SOUND EFFECTOR switch to OFF.
Tip
• When you sing along with TV broadcasts or music played back on equipment
connected to the LINE-1 IN jacks on this player, play the music source and, then
press KARAOKE and set the SELECTOR on the microphone to KEY or S.D.
Notes
• If the sound is reproduced through a stereo amplifier, turn down the volume of
amplifier before operation.
• If streaks appear during playback, select the colour system that the tape was
recorded in (see “To set the colour system” on page 12).
• If feedback occurs, turn down the microphone or TV volume, or move the
microphone away from the speakers.
