The power supply voltages of
+
5 V (B),
+
3 V and

5 V
are used mainly as the power supply for plug-in circuit
boards.
The adjustment potentiometers are located on front panel
side of power supply unit and check terminals to connect
the probes of a digital voltmeter for the voltage
measurement are located on CPU-253 board.
<Check procedures>
1.
Remove the front panel. (Refer to the section 1-5-1.)
2.
Confirm that the power supply unit is properly inserted
and securely fixed with the four screws.
3.
Turn ON the power and confirm that the POWER
indicators

on the CPU-253 board light up.

4.
Connect the digital voltmeter between check terminals
on CPU-253 board. Confirm that the voltage values of
each check terminal meet the following specifications.

Remove the board retainer (fan) and connect the
digital voltmeter to the check terminals.
5.
If the specification does not meet, adjust the voltage as
described below.
n
Perform any adjustments when all of the required
plug-in boards have been installed.
The number of plug-in boards differs depending on the
FARAD system configuration. (Up to ten plug-in
boards can be installed in the FDDR-7000.)
