1-6-1. FDDR-7000 (Multi-channel digital disk
recorder)

Before powering off the FDDR-7000, it is necessary to
prepare for shutdown with the SHUTDOWN button. If
you simply turn the power switch off while recording or
playback is in progress, recorded material or system
information may be lost, and the system will not subse-
quently function correctly.
When the BKFD-7800 (HDD extension box) is connected,
power on the BKFD-7800 first, and then the FDDR-7000.
Do not power on the host computer until after all connect-
ed FARAD systems are powered on.
(1) Turn off the power switch.
(2) Remove the front panel. (Refer to “1. Front Panel” in
the section 1-5-1.)
(3) Insert the power unit.
(4) Secure the power unit by four screws.

are powered on.
(1) Turn off the power switch.
(2) Remove the front panel. (Refer to “1. Front Panel” in
the section 1-5-2.)
(3) Insert the power unit.
(4) Secure the power unit by four screws.
