Removal
(5) Open the eject levers of the plug-in board in the
direction of the arrow

(6) Pull out the plug-in board from the unit.

Pull out the plug-in board with a equal force for both
eject levers.
Installation
(7) Insert the plug-in board along the board guide rails
while putting the eject levers to

position as shown
in the figure.
(8) Connect the plug-in board to the connector on the
mother board by putting the eject levers in the
direction of the arrow

(9) Install the board retainer and the fans in the reverse
order of the steps (1) through (4).

(1) Confirm that the connectors on each board are securely
connected to the MB-694 board of the unit.
(2) If the board is installed in an incorrect slot, a system
error occurs. Then the system is not properly
activated.
(3) Be sure to confirm the power supply voltage when an
optional board is added or a board is replaced.
(Refer to the section 3-2.)
(4) After replacing the CPU-253 board, it is necessary to
re-install the BZFD-7020 (Operation software).
