Checking method:
1) Enter 1 kHz, 0 dBu signal to the AUDIO INPUT terminal (CH-
1).
2) Set the REC level mode switch (CH-1) on the front panel to
“MANU”, and rotate the REC level adjusting knob to the
maximum position (clockwise).
3) At this time, check that the CH-1 level meters on the LCD
monitor all light up, and a red LED on the right side of meter
lights up.
4) Set the METER switch on the front panel to “CH1/2”.
5) At this time, check that the CH-1 level meters on the display
window of the set all light up, and the OVER indicator on the
meter lights up.
6) For the CH-2, 3 and 4, perform checking in the same manner.

Checking method:
1) Enter 1 kHz, 0 dBu signal to the AUDIO INPUT terminal (CH-
1).
2) Set the REC level mode switch (CH-1) on the front panel to
“MANU”.
3) Rotate the REC level adjusting knob so that 0 dB on the CH-1
level meter on the LCD monitor lights up and a red LED on
the right side of meter does not light up.
4) At this time, check that the rotating angle of the REC level
adjusting knob is within 1 division from the center.
Note: Hence, do not rotate the REC level adjusting knob unless
otherwise specified, as this set position (rotating angle) of the
REC level adjusting knob is required in other checking items.
5) Perform recording continuously for about 30 seconds, and play
the recorded part.
6) Check that the output level on CH-1 satisfies the specified
value.
7) Observing the output waveform on CH-1 with the oscilloscope,
check that no clip is found.
8) Check that the playback sounds at the changed speed are
outputted, when the recorded part is cued/reversed.
9) For the CH-2, 3 and 4, perform checking in the same manner.
