Audio PAL Data Input (DSR-50P)
When replacing JC-20 board or IC5006 of JC-20 board, change
the data of the address shown in the following tables by manual
input.

1) Select page: 0, address: 01, and set data: 01.
2) Select page: D, and input data in the following table.
Note:
To write in the non-volatile memory (EEPROM), press the
PAUSE button of the adjustment remote commander each
time to set the data.
3) Select page: 0, address: 01, and set data: 00.

32kHz mode section:
1 kHz signal must be outputted.
48kHz mode section:
1 kHz signal level is +6 to +10 dBV.
44.1kHz mode EMP ON section:
7.35 kHz signal level is 0 to +4 dBV.
44.1kHz mode EMP OFF section:
7.35 kHz signal level is +6 to +10 dBV.
Note:
0 dBV = 1 Vrms
Checking method (NTSC):
1) Play the alignment tape (XH5-3).
2) Check that the play signal level satisfies the specified value.
3) Check with the oscilloscope that no clip is found in the output
waveform.
Checking method (PAL) :
1) Select page: 0, address: 01, and set data: 01.
2) Select page: D, address: 40, and check that the data is “00”.
3) Select page: D, address: 41, and check that the data is “18”.
4) Select page: D, address: 42, set data: FF, and press the PAUSE
button on the adjustment remote commander.
5) Select page: D, address: 43, set data: 7F, and press the PAUSE
button.
6) Select page: D, address: 44, and check that the data is “00”.
7) Select page: D, address: 45, and check that the data is “1A”.
8) Select page: D, address: 46, set data: FF, and press the PAUSE
button.
9) Select page: D, address: 47, set data: 7F, and press the PAUSE
button.
10) Disconnect the adjustment remote commander, and turn the
POWER switch OFF.
11) Turn the POWER switch ON.
12) Play the aligment tape (XH5-3P).
13) Check that the play signal level satisfies the specified value.
14) Check with the oscilloscope that no clip is found in the output
waveform.
15) Connect the adjustment remote commander.
16) Select page: 0, address: 01, and set data: 01.
17) Select page: D, address: 40, and check that the data is “00”.
18) Select page: D, address: 41, and check that the data is “18”.
19) Select page: D, address: 42, set data: AC, and press the PAUSE
button.
20) Select page: D, address: 43, set data: 65, and press the PAUSE
button.
21) Select page: D, address: 44, and check that the data is “00”.
22) Select page: D, address: 45, and check that the data is “1A”.
23) Select page: D, address: 46, set data: AC, and press the PAUSE
button.
24) Select page: D, address: 47, set data: 65, and press the PAUSE
button.
25) Disconnect the adjustment remote commander, and turn the
POWER switch OFF.
