USAGE
Use of this two way (2x subw 1x tweeter), bass-reflex active sound box
is recommended mainly for hobby and party entertainment purposes. Its built-in
battery allows you to operate it without mains voltage. With the help of the wireless
BT connection, as well as a 3,5 mm socket (LINE IN) and the two 6,3 mm diameter
microphone and a guitar inputs, it can be directly connected with external devices, for
instance: mobile phone, computer, CD/DVD player, musical instrument, microphone…
The device includes an FM/BT/USB/microSD/MP3/WMA multimedia player. In addition
to receiving USB storage, it also has a second USB connector designed for charging.
Supplied with a remote control and a power cable for charging.
POWER SUPPLY, CHARGING THE BATTERY
The sound box can be operated from a built-in battery. Charge the battery before the
first use. Connect the supplied power cable to the sound box. Connect the power cable
supplied with it to the sound box (
POWER IN
socket in the backside), then to the mains
and leave the sound box switched off. During charging, the red LED is lighting on the
display. Towards the end of charging, it will turn orange, and when the auto charge is
complete, the LED will turn green. Then remove the charger cable and use the unit.
In case of completely depleted battery, the complete charging time is about 7 hours.
This provides approximately 24 hours of internal battery operation at moderate volume.
This depends on the set volume, the selected operation mode, and the environmental
temperature. The test was conducted by listening to the radio at room temperature. It
can be charged while it is in use, but this increases the charging time and may cause
additional noise.
• The battery can be charged in all three switch positions. To completely disconnect power, set it
to OFF position and disconnect it from the mains.
• Battery status indicator: When the power is on, a battery symbol will be displayed at the bottom
right of the display. Towards the end of the operating time, this symbol changes and then blinks. It
does not proportionally indicate the remaining operating time. The unit will turn off after the OFF
message. Then connect to the network.
• Disconnect the power cord from the power source after charging and/or use. Only remain con-
nected after a full charge, if the unit operates continuously or the rocker switch is in AC position.
Charge can sometimes cause noise in speakers and reduce the quality of radio reception. This
device is intended for use when supplied with power from a battery, and it is recommended to
recharge it after use.
• When the device is switched off, the automatic battery charger functions. Therefore, remove the
cable after charging is complete.
• Keep the battery charged when it is not in use for a longer life.
• The battery used is a sealed lead-acid type. Maintenance-free. At the end of its life, it can be
replaced by a specialist after removing the cover. The cover is secured with screws.
INSTALLATION
Perform all connections when the system is unplugged. Make sure that the sound
box and the device to be connected are switched off. Make sure that the connector’s
polarity and their connection are according to the requirements. Keep the microphone
cable and the audio cable away from the power cable. The power cable must first be
plugged into the sound box and then into the power outlet.
Set the volume (
VOLUME
) to low position, then switch it on with the rear rocker switch.
To switch it on, set the rear rocker switch to
Battery
position, if you want to use it
independently from the mains, from the built-in battery. If the device is connected to the
mains, set the switch to
AC
position and use it like this.
After the welcome message, the display shows the
LINE
function. The 3,5 mm socket
is now active. Further modes can be selected by pressing the
MODE
button. Complete
power-off cannot be achieved with the remote control, but can be with the
POWER
SWITCH
rocker switch (OFF), although the charging circuit is still working.
• If a USB or microSD storage is already inserted when the power is turned on, playback will
begin automatically.
• European models are marketed without “voice announcement”. Otherwise, you can deactivate
this function by holding pressed the MODE button for three seconds.
VOLUME-CONTROL AND FUNCTION CHANGE
You can adjust the volume with the
VOLUME
rotary knob or the remote control’s
VOL+/
VOL-
buttons. If you have previously paired an external BT device to it – and it is loca
-
ted nearby – the connection will be done automatically. You can select the function you
want to operate by pressing the
MODE
button (on the control panel or remote control):
LINE-BLUE-FM-USB-SD-LINE…
Available multimedia features; connecting external audio equipment (LINE IN), using
wireless BT connection, FM radio, USB/microSD MP3/WMA player, microphone
(MIC IN) and musical instrument (GT IN) (options). The services available may vary
depending on the signal source.
• When the volume control of the control panel is in minimum positon, the volume cannot be
increased with the remote control. Note that these two options affect each other.
THE MAXIMAL VOLUME
All speakers must be operated in prior to proper use. Operate only at 50 % load for the
first 30–50 hours of operation.
At higher volume levels, in some cases, distorted, lower quality sound may occur. This
can be caused by an input signal that is too large. To avoid this, reduce the signal
level of the external equipment or, if necessary, decrease the volume (
VOLUME
). The
maximum volume of the system is that which can still be heard in good quality without
distortion.
• Increasing the volume will no longer increase the output power, but it increases the distortion of
the system. This is harmful to the speakers and can cause malfunctions.
• If you are connecting a microphone, place it as far away from the sound box as possible to
eliminate feedback. Do not point the sound box towards the microphone as the feedback will da-
mage the speakers. When using a microphone, gently increase the volume, and if you experience
feedback, immediately rewind the controller and, if necessary, reposition the box.
TONE CONTROL
There are several options for customizing the tone on the control panel of the voice
box and on the remote control. Note that different signal sources and volume levels
require different settings, otherwise the sound quality may decline. Distorted sound is
harmful to the speakers. The settings can be applied together, influence each other and
may cause distortion if not adjusted properly. Sound effect options: 2x3 band bass and
treble control (graphical EQUALIZER) on the control panel, MEGA BASS extra bass
enhancement, sound setting with the EQ button on the remote control or the control
panel: POP / ROCK / JAZZ / CLASSICAL / FLAT
Recommended setting with the FLAT (EQ switched off) and switched off MEGA BASS;
by carefully, manually controlling with the 6 band graphic equalizer.
WIRELESS BT CONNECTION
The device can be paired with other devices that communicate with
BT
protocol, within
a range of up to 10 meters. After that, you can listen to music played on your mobile
phone, tablet, notebook, and other similar devices. Select the BT function by shortly
pressing the
MODE
button, on the display, the
BLUE
sign is readable. In the way it’s
written in the instruction manual of the device to be paired, search the devices nearby
which have BT wireless connection, including this speaker. Connect the two devices
with each other. In case of successful connection, the
BLUE
sign that was flashing until
then is continuously readable on the screen. The desired program is then heard on the
loudspeaker. Usually the player application of the playback device (e.g. on a mobile
phone) can be remotely controlled by briefly pressing the / / buttons.
• You can charge the paired mobile device from the USB port on the left side.
• One speaker can be paired with a BT device at the same time.
• Once turned on, it will automatically reconnect to a previously paired and properly connected
device, if it is nearby.
• If the wireless connection is lost, press the MODE button as needed until you reach BT again
and pairing mode is reactivated
• If you receive a phone call to your connected mobile phone while listening to music, the music
will be paused. After the call, resume playback on the phone.
• The actual range depends on the other device and the environment. (e.g. walls, human bodies,
other electrical devices, movement…)
• Abnormal operation, noise may be caused by the electrical appliances operating nearby, this
does not indicate the malfunction of the device.
• Malfunctions may be caused by the specific features of the external device, this does not
indicate the malfunction of the device. Occasionally, the BT function may be limited depending
on the external device.
• If you listen to it while charging, network noise may occasionally occur in the speakers. This
device in intended for use when supplied with power from a battery, and it recommended to
recharge it after use.
MP3/WMA PLAYBACK FROM USB/microSD mass storage
The player is ready for use, if the device is switched on. Insert carefully the USB or
microSD signal source and the device automatically switches to MP3/WMA playback
mode, then playback starts. On the display, the USB or SD sign appears and the elap
-
sed time of the current track and the track number is readable when scrolling. To start
playback, press the button, but it will start automatically after inserting the external
device. Use the same button to pause playback (
PAUSE

• When the power is turned on, the last played track can be restarted.
• The recommended file system for memory is FAT32. Do not use a NTFS formatted memory unit.
• If the unit does not emit sound or USB / microSD memory is not recognized, remove and then
reconnect the memory unit and select it again with the MODE button. If necessary, turn the power
off and on again.
• Remove the external memory only after switching the player off or changed to another source
with the MODE button. Failure to do so may result in data corruption. Do not remove the connec-
ted external unit during playback.
• There is only one way to insert a USB/microSD device. If you get stuck, turn it over and try
again; don’t force it. Do not touch the contacts by hand.
