INSTALLATION
1. Before installation, carefully remove packaging, and make sure not to damage the unit or the connecting cable. If you find any damage, the unit must not be operated!
2. Unwind the power cable and lead it out on the side of the stand!
3. Set the stand on hard, horizontal surface!
4. Plug the unit into a standard grounded wall socket. Now the unit is ready for operation.
5. Open up the lid with short pushing of the round button in the middle.
6. Fill the kettle with cold water up to max. marking and close the lid tightly.
7. Place the kettle on the stand.
8. Switch on the kettle by pushing the on/off switch down. Operating indicator will light.
9. If the water has boiled, the switch will turn off, the light will go out.
10. Pour out the boiled water.
11. Repeat two more times the steps 5 – 10.
12. Afterwards the unit is ready for use.
BOILING WATER
1. Always fill only as much water as you need to the water tank, but at least up to min. marking (0,5 l). Do not fill the water tank above the max. marking (1,7 l)!
2. Switch on the kettle by tilting the on/off switch to ”1” position. Operation indicator will light.
3. Boiling of water can be stopped at any time with tilting the switch to ”0” position.
4. If you lift the kettle from the stand during operation, the switch will stay in ON position. Do not put empty kettle on the stand with the switch in ON position. Do not switch on the kettle, when it’s empty! Risk
of failure!
5. If the water has boiled, the switch will turn off and the light goes out.
6. Now you can use the boiled water.
7. Open the lid only, if there is no hot water in the tank.
CLEANING, MAINTENANCE
Cleaning the water tank
1. It is recommended to remove lime scale once a month in case of hard water, and once in every two month in case medium-hard or soft water.
2. For that purpose, prepare a solution by mixing one part of 10% vinegar with 2 parts of water.
3. Fill the water tank with this solution up the MAX marking, then leave it stand for 2 hours.
4. According to the 5 – 10 points of INSTALLATION, rinse the kettle 2 – 3 times.
Cleaning the water filter
1. Open up the lid of water tank and remove the filter from the spout. To do this, press the filter from the inside out.
2. Clean the filter with soft brush under running water.
3. Insert first the bottom part of the filter to its place and after push the upper part back.
Cleaning the stand
1. Switch off and power off the unit by unplugging it from the electric outlet before cleaning!
2. Clean the stand with dry cloth. Do not use any aggressive cleaners. Avoid getting water inside of and on the electric components of the appliance! Appliance must not be immersed to water!
TROUBLESHOOTING
Malfunction
Solution
The appliance doesn’t boil
the water.
Check the power supply and the main switch.
Make sure the water tank is well fitted to the stand.
Overheating protection may activated. Let the appliance cool down.
