Steps:

Selecting the motors.
For this step, the upper parts of the motors' casings must be removed using a coin.
Place the motor which includes the electronic control unit on the gatepost where the power
supply is located.

Installing the motors.

Applying the sealants
For dependability, SOMFY advises that you fasten the motor using a chemical sealant.

Selecting the motors.

Installing the motors.
Position the motor by fastening it onto
the lower threaded rods using the
washers and nuts.

Check that the motors are level.
Continue tightening if necessary.

Position the motor on the gatepost and
check that the mounting holes are
perfectly aligned with the holes drilled in
the gateposts.

Remove the motor. Place the 4 chemical
sealants and the threaded rods into the
holes drilled in the posts.
Wait for the chemical sealants to fully
harden.

Finish mounting the motor on the upper threaded rods, using the washers and nuts.
