FLOATING BOOM FUNCTION (OPTIONAL)
The machine can be equipped with the floating boom function (optional). This function allows the hydraulic
oil to be completely drained from the lifting cylinder and therefore to “free” the telescopic boom. In this
way the boom is without restraint and is free to follow the course of the ground (it is used for example if a
snow shovel is mounted). The function can be activated through the relevant button on the second right
side dashboard (8). The function must be activated only with the boom completely lowered and retracted.
Attention! Once the function is activated, the boom falls by gravity having no hydraulic
restraint. For safety reasons it is not possible to activate the function with the boom
lifted by more than about 2 metres. Regardless, the function should not be activated
with the boom high in order to avoid hazardous situations and/or damage to the
accessories mounted on the telescopic boom or the boom itself.
It is possible to raise the boom to avoid any obstacles during the work cycle even if the float function is
activated. The function will be automatically reactivated only if the boom does not exceed a height of 2
metres. Regardless, for safety purposes the boom should be raised just enough to avoid the obstacle.
The floating boom function can only be activated with the engine running and the dead
man present.

BOOM SUSPENSION FUNCTION (OPTIONAL)
The machine can be equipped with the boom suspension function (optional). This function allows the
dampening of boom movements during operations with or without a load. The function can be activated
through the relevant button on the second right side dashboard (7).
Attention! The suspension function cannot be activated if the floating boom function is
already active.
The boom suspension function can only be activated when the engine is running and the
operator is present.
