COOLANT LIQUID REPLACEMENT
The coolant needs to be replaced every 2,000 operating hours or every two years (regardless
of the routine maintenance interval). It may be contaminated by rust and/or scale resulting from the
coolant effect.
Proceed as follows:
1.
Remove the coolant tank cap and the breather screw on the
top part of the radiator (see photo)
2.
Loosen the drain screw on the bottom of the radiator or
remove the lower pipe of the system and drain the coolant.
3.
After draining the liquid, refit and tighten the drain plug or
the lower radiator pipe.
4.
Pour in the new liquid from the filling tank (keeping the
upper radiator vent open: photo) and bring it up to the FULL
level.
5.
Close the plug (and upper breather) and run the engine until
the normal operating temperature is reached. Check the coolant level.
6.
If the level is not sufficient, stop the engine, wait for it to cool down and add to the level.
