DESCRIPTION OF THE CONTROLS
i.
CONTROL LEVERS ON THE STEERING COLUMN
1.
LEFT LEVER OF THE STEERING WHEEL (STALK)
To enable the forward gear of the machine (F) the lever must be pulled
toward the steering wheel and then pushed forward. The letter “F” will be
displayed on the front right dashboard.
To enable the reverse gear of the machine (R) the lever must be pulled
toward the steering wheel and then pushed back. The letter “R” will be
displayed on the front right dashboard.
Enable the neutral gear (N) by moving the lever to the central position.
The lever controls do not operate when:
-
The parking brake is engaged
-
the operator is not sitting in the driver's seat.
In the guide below the left lever of the steering wheel is referred to as the
“stalk”.
The lever can be used in all steering methods. It is dangerous to change the
direction of travel when the machine is moving with the engine at high speed; the machine will, in fact,
abruptly invert the direction of travel; before reversing the gear, wait for the engine
speed to drop to the minimum. When reverse is selected, an acoustic signal sounds to
inform anybody present in the maneuvering area of the potential hazard.
Attention! If the operator leaves the driver's seat, the neutral gear "N" is automatically
engaged after 3 seconds.
