Screw the new filter onto the support by hand until it is in contact with the seal, then tighten (20
Nm torque)

Dispose of the old filter according to the relevant regulations in force.
Add the engine oil as per the “checking and topping up the engine
lubricating oil” procedure
1.
Fill with engine oil (as per the procedure) without ever
overfilling
2.
Keep the oil level between the minimum and maximum
level
3.
Warm the engine up for 5 minutes and check for any oil
leaks
4.
When the engine is warm, turn it off and wait for 10
minutes
5.
Check the engine oil level again
6.
Add oil through the fill cap (5) (figure 3) if necessary until
the dipstick indicates a level between the minimum and
maximum (1) (figure 3)
7.
Close the fill cap again (5) (figure 3) and clean any spillage

CONTROL AND REGULATION OF COOLING FAN BELT
If the cooling fan belt is not properly tensioned, this may cause slippage of the pulleys of the
connected parts: alternator and consequent reduction of energy generated and the fan rotor with possible
overheating of the engine.
The belt must be checked by carrying out the following steps:
1.
Press on the belt with your thumb in the points indicated in
the table, using a force of about 10 kg

to check the flexion.
The three flexion control points (A, B, C) are shown in figure
