SIGNAL CONNECTIONS
All the connectors are mounted on the rear panel
of the unit and are appropriately annotated.
D1 Parallel Digital Input
A CCIR 656 parallel input is fed via a standard 25-
way D connector - for pin connections, see Table
3.3.
D1 Serial Digital Input
The SERIAL connector is the SDI serial digital
input.
Film Frame
These connectors are for a future upgrade and
have no function on the unit at present.
Genlock References
There are two pairs (Ref A and Ref B) of loop-
through BNC connectors (for 75 Ohms) provided
that may be connected to an external source of
reference signal.
SDI Output
The HD5050 provides three SMPTE 292 HD SDI
(1.485 Mbit/s) outputs.
