Before We Begin:
The Quick-Start Guide should get you up and running with your new Network Encoder in a matter of
minutes. To get started please make sure you have:
1. a computer with an Ethernet port
2. an Ethernet cable (CAT5/6)
3. administrative access or privileges so that you can
temporarily change the computers IP address and subnet.
Before configuring the device we need to change your local computers IP address to the same subnet
as your new Network Encoder. The default IP address for the Network Encoder is
192.168.200.64
. In
order for the devices to communicate, please make sure that your local computer is set up on the same
subnet.
To do this you are going to first click on the network icon in your lower right taskbar.
