(8) Install the upmast turning mechanism at the
mounting position, ensuring correct orientation.
Use the shim washers supplied, to take up any
distortion in the mounting platform. Failure to do
so may cause the casting to crack when bolts are
tightened to the correct torque.
(9) Secure the upmast turning mechanism with the
four M16 bolts supplied and torque load them to
120Nm.
Op tional Tx Mon i tor Arm (CAE-A38)
37 Using a 12 mm span ner, re lease the six bolts se cur ing
the rear cover to the Turn ing Mech a nism and re move
the cover.
38 Route the Tx Mon i tor Arm cableform as shown in
Fig ure 12e.

Con nect the Tx Mon i tor Arm cableform to the Head ing
Line PCB (CAE-A180) as fol lows: red to 9PLA 7 and
blue to 9PLA 8.

Re fit the rear cover and se cure us ing the six bolts.
