Broadcast Storm Control
Use the Broadcast Storm Control menu to enable/disable broadcast
suppression on a per-port basis. You can also set the
packet-per-second threshold at which broadcast packets will be
discarded. The parameters are shown in the following figure and
table.

Description
Filterin g Status
Enables/disables broadcast suppression for the
port. When enabled, broadcast packets are
discarded if the threshold rate is exceeded. (The
default is disabled.)
Filterin g Thresh old
The threshold rate at which broadcast packets are
discarded. The default is 10240 packets per
second. (Range is 1024 - 353,422 pps.)
