Concluding notes
By means of the connector ‘C5’ on the front panel, the
machine may be controlled using optional remote
controls. The selection of the remote control is
automatic when the connector is inserted and remains
in this way until it is physically disconnected.
The screensaver function is activated on the ‘D1’
display when the machine is not being used. To return
to normal viewing, simply turn any selector on the front
or press the torch trigger.
Storing programs
Personal welding
settings can be
stored in all welding
processes utilising
the ‘E5’ selector. Up
to a maximum of 100
programmes can be
stored.
After set all the desired parameters, access the
‘Memory’ menu:
•
Press selector ‘E5’ briefly; the blue LED ‘
3
’ turns on
and the programmes memory management menu is
shown on the ‘D1’ display.
Turn selector ‘E5’ to select the option wanted:
Save a program:
•
In the ‘Memory’ menu select ‘Save’.
•
Press ‘E5’ and rotate knob ‘E3’ for selecting the
desired memory location (number), shown on
displays ‘D1’ and ‘D2’.
•
If such chosen memory number is blinking on ‘D2’, it
means it is free. On the contrary, if it is steady lit, it
means that it is already occupied: in this case, by
continuing the operation, the programme that
existed there will be overwritten.
•
Confirm your choice by pressing selector ‘E5’ or
cancel by pressing selector ‘E4’.
To exit from the ‘Memory’ menu press further ‘E4’ or
select ‘Exit’ turning ‘E5’ and confirm with pressing ‘E5’.
Load and modify a program:
•
In the ‘Memory’ menu select ‘Load’.
•
Press ‘E5’ and select, by turning ‘E3’, the memory
location (number) to be loaded, shown on displays
‘D1’ and ‘D2’ (if the memory number is blinking on
‘D2’, it means that the programme doesn’t exist).
•
By pressing selector switch ‘E5’, the programme
present in the selected location will be loaded (it can
be modified and overwritten through the procedure
for saving a programme (described here above).
•
Confirm your choice by pressing selector ‘E5’ or
cancel by pressing selector ‘E4’.
To exit from the ‘Memory’ menu press further ‘E4’ or
select ‘Exit’ turning ‘E5’ and confirm with pressing ‘E5’.
Delete a program:
•
In the ‘Memory’ menu select ‘Delete’.
•
Press ‘E5’ and select, by turning ‘E3’, the memory
location (number) to be deleted, shown on displays
‘D1’ and ‘D2’.
•
Press ‘E5’: the programme present in that memory
location will be deleted.
•
Confirm your choice by pressing selector ‘E5’ or
cancel by pressing selector ‘E4’.
To exit from the ‘Memory’ menu press further ‘E4’ or
select ‘Exit’ turning ‘E5’ and confirm with pressing ‘E5’.
Delete all program:
•
In the ‘Memory’ menu select ‘Clear All’.
•
Confirm your choice by pressing selector ‘E5’ or
cancel by pressing selector ‘E4’.
To exit from the ‘Memory’ menu press further ‘E4’ or
select ‘Exit’ turning ‘E5’ and confirm with pressing ‘E5’.
