MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES
4. To correct track alignment:

Stop engine.
4.2
Remove tether cord and key.
WARNING
Remove tether cord cap and
key before performing any
maintenance or adjustment,
unless otherwise specified.
Vehicle must be parked in
a safe place, away from the
trail.
4.3
Loosen rear wheel retaining
screws.
4.4
Tighten adjustment screw on
side where the slider shoe is
the farthest from the track in-
sert guides.

5. Tighten retaining screws.
WARNING
Properly tighten wheel retaining
bolts, otherwise wheel may come
off and cause track to “lock”.

TYPICAL
1. Retighten to 48 N•m ± 6 N•m
(35 lbf•ft ± 4 lbf•ft)
6. Restart engine and rotate track
slowly to recheck alignment.
7. Reposition
snowmobile
on
the
ground.
8. Install
rear
wheel
caps
if
so
equipped.
Suspension
Rear Suspension Condition
Visually inspect all suspension compo-
nents including slider shoes, springs,
wheels, etc.
NOTE:
During normal driving, snow
will act as a lubricant and coolant for
the slider shoes. Extensive riding on
ice or sanded snow, will create exces-
sive heat build-up and cause prema-
ture slider shoe wear.
Suspension Stopper Strap
Condition
Inspect
stopper
strap
for
wear
and cracks, bolt and nut for tight-
ness. If loose inspect holes for de-
formation.
Replace
as
required.
Torque
nut
to
10 N•m ± 1 N•m
(89 lbf•
in
± 9 lbf•
in
).
Rear Suspension Lubrication
Lubricate the following suspension
pivots at grease fittings using SUS-
PENSION GREASE (P/N 293 550 033).
Refer to
MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE
for maintenance frequency.
