Chaincase/Gearbox Oil Level
Tundra R
Check the oil level by removing the chaincase oil level plug.

The oil should be level with the bottom of the oil level hole. Refill as
required using BOMBARDIER chaincase oil (P/N 413 801 900) until it
flows through oil level hole.
Skandic LT
With snowmobile on a level surface, check the oil level by removing
dipstick. Oil level must be between lower and upper marks.
NOTE:
It is normal to find metallic particles stuck to dipstick magnet.
If bigger pieces of metal are found, see an authorized SKI-DOO
dealer.
Remove metal particles from magnet.
Refill up to upper mark using BOMBARDIER synthetic chaincase oil
(P/N 413 803 300 — 12 x 355 mL) for Skandic LT.
CAUTION:
Do not use unrecommended other types of oil when
servicing. Do not mix synthetic oil with other types of oil.
