Guidelines to Adjust Suspension
The best way to set up suspension, is to start from factory settings
then customize each adjustment one at a time in the right order
(steps 1 to 4). Then, test run the snowmobile always with the same
conditions; trail, speed, snow, driver riding position etc. Change ad-
justment and retest. Proceed methodically until you get satisfied.
CAUTION:
Whenever adjusting rear suspension, check track ten-
sion and adjust as necessary.
Slight suspension bottoming occurring under the worst riding condi-
tions indicates a good choice of spring preload.
1. Rear Springs — Comfort
When driver and passenger (if so applicable) take place rear of snow-
mobile should collapse by 50 to 70 mm (2 to 3 in).
PROPER ADJUSTMENT
A. 50 to 75 mm (2 to 3 in)
WARNING
