To correct,
stop the engine
: Loosen the lock nuts (some models
only) and tighten the adjustment screw on side where the slider shoe
is the farthest from the track insert guides.

Tighten lock nuts (some models only) and adjustment screws.
WARNING
If lock nuts or retaining screws are not tightened properly, the
adjusting screws could loosen causing the track to become ex-
tremely loose and, under some operating conditions, allow the
idler wheels to climb over the track lugs forcing the track against
the tunnel causing the track to “lock”.
