connections between the TC620-PID and web browsers. Certificates can be self-signed or
obtained from a Certificate Authority.

Security page
Secure connections
An HTTPS connection is a standard HTTP connection on top of an SSL/TLS connection, adding the
security capabilities of SSL/TLS to standard HTTP communication. With HTTPS implemented and
used on the TC620-PID, a safe exchange of data between the unit and a web browser is ensured.
Information transported over the network, such as device settings and credentials, is encrypted
to protect it against eavesdropping.
