Acknowledging alerts
To acknowledge an alert, you will first need to access the Alerts panel by moving the cursor
over the Alerts panel, and then press the left trackball button.
You select the alert you wish to acknowledge by hovering over the symbol for the alert and
press the left trackball button to acknowledge the alert.
If no active alerts or warnings are present, the softkey is labelled Alerts. Pressing this key
moves the cursor to the Alerts panel.
Press the cross button in the top right of the Alerts panel to exit the Alerts panel.
When an Alarm or Warning is acknowledged, the alert icon st ops flashing and changes to the
acknowledged icon. The siren continues to sound if there are remaining unacknowledged
alarms or warnings, otherwise it is muted.
The acknowledged alert is then moved to its new position in the sort order.
All alerts remain in the Alerts panel until the reason for the alarm is rectified.
