FOR THE INSTALLER
COMMISSIONING
Run the following checks before turning on the boiler for the first time:
– Check that there are no flammable fluids or materials in the vicinity of the boiler.
– Make sure that the electrical connection has been completed properly and the earth wire is connected to an
effective grounding plant.
– Open the gas valve and check that the fittings are tight, including the burner fitting.
– Make sure that the boiler is properly configured for the gas supply.
– Check that the combustion exhaust duct is clear and properly installed.
– Make sure that all shutters are open.
– Make sure that the system is filled with water and properly vented.
– Check that the circulator pump is running properly
– Vent all air from the gas line with the pressure fitting cock on the gas valve intake.
- Ensure that the checklist is compiled after commissioning.

The manufacturer’s instructions must not be taken as overriding any statutory requirements, and failure to
comply with these regulations may lead to prosecution.
No modifications to the appliance should be made unless they are fully approved by the manufacturer.
GAS LEAKS: DO NOT OPERATE ANY ELECTRICAL SWITCHES, OR USE OPEN FLAMES. TURN OFF THE GAS SUPPLY

ARE FILLED IN CORRECTLY.
ALL GAS SAFE REGISTERED INSTALLERS CARRY A GAS SAFE ID CARD.
BOTH SHOULD BE RECORDED IN YOUR COMMISSIONING CHECKLIST AND A SERVICE INTERVAL RECORDS.
