GAS VALVE 16)
The boiler is equipped with an SIT 822
NOVAMIX gas valve (fig. 16).
4 .2
CHANGEOVER TO A DIFFERENT
GAS SUPPLY (fig . 17)
This must only be done by an author-
ised technician using original Sime parts .
Failure to do so voids the warranty .
To change over from methane to LPG or
vice-versa, proceed as follows:
– Close the gas valve.
– Replace the nozzle with its O-ring (1) and
gasket (2) with the one provided in the
changeover kit.
– Check all gas connections with soapy
water or a testing product. Do not use
open flames.
– Affix the label indicating the new gas type.
– Set the max/min gas valve pressures as
indicated in par. 4.2.2.

MAINTENANCE (fig . 20)
To ensure that the appliance works proper-
ly, it must be inspected and tested regular-
ly, as required by the law; the frequency of
such checks depends on the type of appli-
ance, its installation and its use.
It should in any case be checked at least
once a year by an Authorised Technical
Service Centre.
During maintenance operations, the
Authorised Technical Service Centre must
check that the drip siphon is full of water
(especially if the boiler has not been used
for a long time) .
It can be filled via the provided intake
(fig . 20) .
