Solar hydraulic unit
Solar units have the main function of making the heat-trans-
fer fluid circulate in the primary circuit and are supplied with
the high-efficiency solar pump WILO PARA ST 15/7 iPWM (code
6330411), safety valve, thermometers, pressure gauge, fill-
ing-drainage valves and a series of components to make the
solar system function efficiently, already pre-assembled and
isolated through EPP pre-forming.
The
Easy System
forced-circulation solar heating system is sup-
plied with the two-column solar unit complete with the Termo-
Solis control unit. The solar unit is installed on the calorifier
included in the supply.
1.9.1
Two-column solar unit
The two-column solar unit is an adjustable-flow system suita-
ble for forced-circulation solar heating circuits. The flow regu-
lator can be used to adjust the flow rate of the circuit in relation
to the system’s needs.
The same regulator can also be used to perform the following
operations: filling-drainage-washing of the system, disman-
tling of the circulator without having to empty the system. The
compact safety unit includes a safety valve, a pressure gauge
and a fitting for flexible hose for making the connection to the
expansion vessel.

The deaerator (A) is a device that continuously separates any
air that circulates together with the fluid.
The air is collected in the upper zone of the deaerator pipe and
can be eliminated through the relevant purge device, while the
system is operating.
– Loosen the knurled ring nut by no more than half a turn. This
operation must be performed once in a while.

WARNING
To prevent direct fluid leakages, given the high oper-
ating temperature, we suggest joining a small pipe to
the relevant end of the purge device.

Pump
1.9.2.1 Signalling LED
The pump is fitted with a signalling LED (B) that indicates the
pump’s operating status.
