• DO NOT over work the tool.
• If the tool emits a burning smell, DO NOT stop the tool; instead, remove from load and allow to
spin freely for approximately 5-10 seconds at high speed to cool the motor before continuing
work.
• Repeat the removal of the tool from load intermittently to keep the tool cool during use.
If a tool is slowing down on sticky material whilst under load:
1. Check the correct accessory type is being used.
2. Make shallower passes across the material.

Product Familiarisation
Intended Use
Bench-mounted combined belt and disc sander. Suitable for sanding a wide range of materials
including metal, wood and plastic. Sanding applications depend on fitted belt or disc type and
grit level. Not suitable for sanding materials that may produce toxic particles or that may be highly
flammable or have other dangerous material properties. Not suitable for sanding with liquids
including water and oil. Not intended for commercial or industrial use.
Unpacking Your Tool
• Carefully unpack and inspect your product. Fully familiarise yourself with all its features and
functions
• Ensure all parts of the product are present and in good condition. If any parts are missing or
damaged, have such parts replaced before attempting to use this product
Before Use
WARNING:
Ensure the tool is disconnected from the power supply before attaching or changing
any accessories, or making any adjustments.

ALWAYS ensure all parts and attachments are secure and that any moving parts will
not contact guards or stationary parts of the tool
Note:
It is highly recommended it is only connected to a circuit protected by a RCD or used with
a plug-in RCD.
Note:
This tool is earthed and must only be connected to mains with a earth connection. Do not
attempt to use it without an earth connection.
Bench Mounting
• Fit the 4 Rubber Feet (10) to the base of the tool
IMPORTANT:
ALWAYS mount securely to a strong, stable workbench (fittings not supplied) once
assembled.
• Mount the tool to the workbench through the Bench Mounting Holes (21)
• Ensure the tool is secure and cannot be moved before use
Sanding Disc Assembly
1. Align the holes in the Disc Guard (38) with the Disc Guard Mounting Holes (7) as shown in image
A and B
2. Attach the Disc Guard using the three Disc Guard Screws (26) ensuring the 4 threaded holes on
the Guard are positioned at the bottom (Image B)
3. Carefully remove the backing pad from the Hook & Loop Sanding Pad (28) and attach the Hook &
Loop Sanding Pad to the Sanding Disc Plate (24) (Image C)
4. Fit the supplied Sanding Disc (27) to the Hook & Loop Sanding Pad
5. Partially screw in the Grub Screw (47) into the threaded hole at the rear of the Sanding Disc Plate

6. Align the flat edge of the Spindle (9) with the Grub Screw (47) on the Sanding Disc Plate

7. Using the 4mm Hex Key (30) use the slot at the top of the Disc Guard to access and tighten the
Grub Screw (47) (Image E)
8. Fit the Dust Extraction Port (Disc) (25) to the Disc Guard (38) using the Dust Extraction Port Screws
