Disposal
Do not dispose of power tools, or other waste electrical and electronic

Contact your local waste disposal authority for information on the correct

way to dispose of tools.
Unpacking and Assembling Your
Torch
Carefully unpack and inspect your product. Fully familiarise yourself with
•
all features of the tool.
If any parts are damaged or missing, return to your retailer and have
•
them replaced before use.
Assembly and Initial Charging
IMPORTANT: The sealed lead acid battery in this product will be
drained from storage. The following steps must be taken to ensure it
is charged correctly. This will maximise the performance and working
life of the battery:
Press the Trigger Switch (7) and check to see when the torch is on.
•
NOW MAKE SURE
•
the product is switched
OFF
. The torch will only
charge in the
OFF
position.
Plug the Mains Charger (8) into the mains power supply, and plug the
•
small end into the Charging Point (5).
Leave to charge for a
•
MINIMUM
of 16 hours before first use.
NOTE:
•
If your Torch does not appear to be charging, try the above steps
to
MAKE SURE
that the Trigger Switch (7) is in the
OFF
position.
Using Your Torch
Switch the torch on or off using the Trigger Switch (7).
•
The trigger switch can be locked on by pressing the Lock On Switch (3)
•
while also pressing the Trigger Switch (7).
The LED Base Light (6) can be turned on by pressing the LED Base Light
•
Switch (2).
Charging
For infrequent use of this torch it is recommended that the battery is
'topped up' after each use.
When using the Mains Charger (8), charge an empty battery for a
•
minimum of 15 hours.
When using the 12v Charger (9), charge an empty battery for a minimum
•
of 12 hours.
Ensure the Trigger Switch (7) is
•
OFF
.
Maintenance
Keep your torch clean and dry.
•
Wipe clean with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
•
Keep the battery topped up.
