Regulatory Specifications

This appendix presents regulatory information that may be important to the operation of
your SGI Origin 300 system with NUMAlink module.

Manufacturer’s Regulatory Declarations

The SGI Origin 300 products conform to several national and international specifications
and European Directives listed on the “Manufacturer’s Declaration of Conformity.” The
CE insignia displayed on each device is an indication of conformity to the European
requirements.

Caution:

Each SGI system has several governmental and third-party approvals, licenses,

and permits. Do not modify this product in any way that is not expressly approved by
SGI. If you do, you may lose these approvals and your governmental agency authority
to operate this device.

System Numbers

The CMN (model) number for the system is shown on the system label on the unit. The
series number is on the serial number label on the back of the system. You may need both
the series number and CMN number to obtain the Manufacturer’s Declaration of
Conformity from SGI.
