Use the
pci
<bus>
reset
command to reset all of the PCI cards on a bus. In this
command, the variable
<bus>
is the bus number.
Use the
pci
<bus> <slot> <u|d>
command to power up or power down an individual
PCI card. In this command, the variable
<u|d>
is
u
(power up) or
d
(power down). The
variable
<bus>
is the bus number and the variable
<slot>
is the slot number.
Use the
pci
<bus> <slot>
reset
command to reset an individual PCI card. In this
command, the variable
<bus>
is the bus number and the variable
<slot>
is the slot
number.
port
Use the
port
command to view the value of the status register for each port. As shown
in Example C-30, the output of the
port
command contains six columns, as follows:
•
The Port column lists the name of each port.
•
The Stat column lists the hexadecimal value of the status register for each port.
•
The Remote Pwr column lists the value, “okay” or “none,” of the remote power OK
bit (bit 0) for each port.
•
The Local Pwr column lists the value, “okay” or “none,” of the local power OK bit
(bit 1) for each port.
•
The Link LED column lists the value, “on” or “off,” of the link LED bit (bit 2) for
each port.
•
The SW LED column lists the value, “on” or “off,” of the software LED bit (bit 3) for
each port.
Note:
For this command, you can use the mnemonic
prt
instead of the word
port
.
