3-4. Bulk Setup
This section describes how to set up multiple units of ST-700 at once.
To make bulk changes, create the confi guration fi le beforehand for the bulk setup.
3-4-1. Creating Confi guration File
The following steps show how to create the confi guration fi le.
You need to get the setting information of one ST-700 unit to create the confi guration fi le.
Connect your PC (to use for the setup) to ST-700 to get the setting information using a LAN cable,
and power on ST-700 (1 - 3).

- Assign IP address that can communicate with ST-700 to the PC. To make the initial settings, choose
Obtain an IP address automatically for the IP address of the PC.
- When you set up ST-700 in a network without DHCP server, specify a link-local address (169.254.xxx.xxx)
for the IP address of the PC.
- In the network settings of the PC, disable network adapters other than the LAN port used for the setup.
TIP
Run AMC Manager®.
Select one of ST-700 from the device list and click the
Create the confi guration fi le icon ( )
from the tool bar and select
Create from Selected Device
.
