CTRL+V: The node (and its child nodes) is pasted in the new position.
7.3
Modifying the Geographical tree
You can cut or copy and paste nodes from one part of a geographical tree to
another using either the Edit or right-click menu. The node that you select to move
or copy can be a room, floor, building, and so on.
Be aware of the following limitations:
Cut command:
– When you cut a node, you can only paste it into a parent node that allows
insertion of that node. For example, you cannot copy a building and paste
into a room.
– You cannot cut and paste link nodes. You
can cut and paste parents of link
nodes (geographical objects with child links) and the links will be
preserved.
Copy command:
– You can copy and paste geographical objects with child links, but the links
will not be preserved in the pasted objects.
Cut/Copy commands:
– You cannot cut or copy and then paste nodes from one geographical tree
to another.
7.4
Executing node commands
Each Plug-in can have its own node-specific commands for actions that Composer
does not provide. These are Plug-in actions particular to a subsystem node.
You can carry out the node-specific commands using:
The Main menu (Edit > Node Commands)
The
Tree View local menu, which you activate by right-clicking on a node.
The items contained in the node commands menu concern the selected node in
the
Tree View. When you execute a node command, the associated action is
executed, so a specific command can change the node properties or the
subsystem structure. It can also display a window for custom interactive editing.
Plug-ins can add additional node commands to nodes in the tree.
