Differential Protection Commissioning

General

In differential protection commissioning mode (commissioning mode in the following) the differential protec-
tion does not generate TRIP commands. The commissioning mode is intended to support the commissioning
of the differential protection.
You can check:

•

Transformer polarity, using the constellation measured values

•

Differential currents

•

Restraint currents

By editing parameters, the operating point of the differential protection can be changed without any risk up to
the generation of a pickup.
