Restarting the HMI device
Required restart
The HMI device must be restarted in the following cases:

You have enabled or disabled PROFINET IO services.
●
You have changed the time zone setting.
●
You have changed the automatic daylight savings and standard setting
●
You have changed the color depth of the screen.
●
You have changed the orientation of the screen (Touch HMI devices only).
NOTICE
Data loss when the HMI device is restarted
All volatile data is lost when the HMI device is restarted.
Check the following:
The project on the HMI device is complete.
No data is being written to the internal memory.
Requirement
●
The Control Panel is open.
●
All applications and files are closed.
●
If you want to reset the HMI device to the factory settings: The HMI device is connected
to the configuring PC via Ethernet.
Procedure
1.
Open the "OP Properties" dialog with the OP icon.
2.
Open the "Device" tab.
