Configuring the F-I/O
F-I/O Configured Same as in Standard System
F-I/O are always configured according to the same scheme:
Once the F-I/O has been positioned in the station window of
HW Config, you can access the
configuration dialog by selecting the Edit > Object Properties menu command or by double-
clicking the F-I/O.
Example of Configuring F-I/O
The Parameter tab for a 4/8 F-DI 24 VDC PROFIsafe fail-safe module is shown below. The
values in the shaded fields are automatically assigned by the optional software. The values
in the non-shaded fields can be changed by the user.
